Indenture made June 2,1828, Allen County,KY between Russell and wf Rachel Shipley & John A & wf Rachel Todd of Allen Co., KY, heirs of Joseph Shipley,decd., of the one part, and John C Devashir of the other part.  For $50,they sold to John Devazier,40 acres out of 200 where Joseph Shipley had lived.  Wm. Prewitt and Jeshua Prewitt each had received 50 acres, Walter Sparks, 35 and Nathaniel Shipley, 25 acres.    From this information I gathered that Russell married a Rachel and Rachel (Joseph'sdaughter with Jane McCracken) married a John A Todd.  My relation comes from the Rachel and John A Todd line.   If anyone has information of this line please let me know.  They have been very difficult to follow.
