Notables - Superhero Actors

So I have been working on a Free Space Page that is one of the passions of my childhood - Superheros - and wanted to share it out in Draft Form to see if there are others who share this same interest.

I grew up watching reruns of The Adventures of Superman, the 1960's Batman, and eventually Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman, and from a genealogical perspective, would love to see all these people connected to the tree (one day). The list is more than incomplete, and the categories are still not finalized (not sure exactly if these are the right ones yet), but hopefully with feedback we can figure it out.

If anyone wants to contribute, please feel free to add another table for your favorite hero who isn't there, or pick one from the list and build their profile. So many wonderful memories of childhood are found (for me, at least) in looking this over and remembering the days when "Up, up, and away!" was something to rush to the TV and watch as a reward for finishing my chores. If you have any memories like this you'd like to share, please do.

Thanks in advance for any helpful feedback you'd like to share or any assistance you might like to provide in helping to recognize these wonderful voice talents, movie actors, television actors, and theater performers who have contributed to bringing these characters to life.

For us youngsters, are current superheros eligible? I am an avid fan of the current ones and if I ever get the chance (HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!) I would gladly start adding them, too! It'd be fun to do some connection combats between the new and old.

Great idea, Scott!

Absolutely!

I haven't added tables for Spider-Man (lots of movie choices there) or any of the Avengers (Hemsworth, Ruffalo, Downey Jr., Evans, Johansson, Renner, etc.). I would think all of these are fair game.

And on the edge of this would be the superheros who might not be - like the characters from Kick Ass, who emerged from the pages of a comic book, or even the characters from the Walking Dead, who also came from the comics.

I'm more focused on the costumed heroic figures, but I'm more than open to having multiple interpretations of what a comic hero is to them as long as it inspires more genealogical research into the people who have acted out these characters in some fashion.
Oh - and I'm not quite old enough to remember the original radio show, but I did start with Bud Collyer, the first man to be the Voice of Superman on the radio. Fascinating guy - lots of history behind his families, including what appears to be a link to a founder and driving power behind Ulster county, New York. I think I've found a link with his wife, but I need a bit of time to confirm it as the link looks to be way way up in 1614 and I'd rather make sure it's right than establish it and find out later that it was originally built on faulty data.
Woo - I think I'll have him connected soon. Ran into an existing profile and just waiting on a trusted list request. I love it when a collaborative effort comes together!
The first Voice of Superman "Bud" Collyer is now connected!

I believe I'll have a connection for Adam West very soon. I have found an uncle who married someone who has an existing profile on WikiTree and I have a trusted list request awaiting approval that should get him connected! Woo Hoo!

Might be a little - bit I'll be patient - the PM is only on the Tree about once every 2-4 months, so I'll hang tight for now. I'm sure it will be updated when he has a chance.
Woo Hoo! - PM came in, updated the record, and the connection is made!

Adam West should be connected tonight.
