Thank You Received

This is not a question; it's really just a comment.  On my Nav page, I recently received an anonymous thank you for an edit of my gg-grandfather Michael Remus.  The thank you only shows up as an IP address.

Just out of curiousity, I looked up the IP.  It came from a library somewhere in Georgia (US).  It makes me wonder if I have a relative in Georgia about whom I know nothing.

It's kind of nice to know that we're putting out information that people can use and they appreciate it.

Just discovered I have a distant cousin in Atlanta!  He's the grandson of one of my g-uncles and a direct descendant of Michael Remus mentioned above!  Wonder if that was him sending me the thank you from a Georgia library. :-)

I had a similar occurance seveal months ago. I was contacted through WikTree about individual-n, was he the same as this person at this time in Canada. He was and I was able to put into contact both of my brother's two families who suspected there might be others, but had no knowledge of them. By brother had passed ten years ago and never told his children about the other family.
