Mary Eva Dixon (1892-1952) m. James William Bladen. Their families lived in Maryland from colonial period. Family rumor that she was disowned for marrying "Papa." I'd love some of her background.

Mary Eva Bladen Obituary.
Both of your responses were very thorough,  but I actually have the info descending from my great-grandparents. It's the Dixon family of Mary Eva that is completely blank....makes me wonder if she was abandoned or orphaned. But thanks for both replies.
