Looking for William Hope -- Bridlington, Yorkshire, England

William Hope (Widower) and Jane Jefferson (Spinster) both of Bridlington parish were married 18 Dec 1820 by George Smith, Minister. The marriage was witnessed by Elizabeth Jefferson & Ann Cowling.

I have been unable to locate information on William's earlier marriage or possible children from each marriage.

I am also trying to locate burial/death information.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have seen the record for William & Mary in Serburn before, but I don't think he is a match for my William because his wife is Mary and their is no record of a child named Thomas.

Am I reading the Leeds register correct? William Hope s/o Joseph, residing in Banks, was born on Feb. 8th and baptized on the 9th?
Looks like William Hope from Leeds married Ann Simpson.
William Hope from Leeds married Ann, Dec. 6th 1835. There is a record of an earlier marriage to Martha Batley on June 18th 1815.

The marriage of my William Hope says he is a widower, but I'm not sure this William Hope is a match either :(

ok, I think I found William and Jane in Sledmere.

Children:

1) Mary Hope (1821-) (m:John Rudd
1840?) (d:1890:Bridlington)

2) William (1823-?)

3) Thomas (1826-1913 Port Perry, Canada) (1841: Driffield, Nafferton, Alice JEFFERSON household as male labourer)

4) Elizabeth (1827-1864?) (1841-1851: Driffield: Thomas JEFFERSON household as female servant)

5) Richard (1832-1833 burial: Sledmere, Yorkshire)

Does anyone have a findmypast account to confirm parentage for these children? FamilySearch shows a Thomas and Jane living in Sledmere at the same time as William and Jane.)
