Looking for mother of Philip Lionel Brock?

I'm hitting a brick wall when trying to find the mother of my great-grandfather, Philip Lionel Brock (Brock-2534). On the census, she is usually listed as "Maggie Brock". I've found marriage and birth records where she's listed as "Maggie Bauer" (I'm assuming Bauer is her maiden name) and "Margaret Bauer". The census records say her father was born in France, but I've been unable to find any other information regarding this person. My best guess is Bauer-2311, but it's unclear if Madelaine was her birth name and she used several nicknames, or she is unrelated entirely. Thanks!

Thank you so much! I've used Ancestry Library so many times looking for this information, but I was unable to find anything. You're awesome! :-)

You are welcome anytime..I have an ancestry tree also--I use it to look up docs and searches to use for my family
Yes, that's wonderful. And most of those are linked to Joseph Bour on WikiTree already! It's amazing how something so frustrating makes total sense when you're helped by a pro. This was a big brick wall for me, so you have no idea how much I appreciate your help. :-)
Glad I could help, But I sure am not considered a pro.You can't take everything on ancestry as to being accurate all the time. Other people's trees have flaws in them and I found out the hard way. But research is something I enjoy doing and if I can help out others I will. I believe we all need to be connected. Our forefathers would want that too I am sure.I am new to WiKi because I was so busy with ancestry for so many years that I didn't know about it..so much for being a researcher...Enjoy and good luck
