Question

I wanted to share this family photo of Ada Coull with the community. Location: Jerome Studios, High Street,Chatham. Date: 1920.

The family home in Fort Pitt Street, Chatham was bombed to the ground (and even the cellar) in June 1942. Everything was lost including all the family photos. This one had been sent to be copied for my Auntie Kath and was not in the house so survived. And she was as servere as she looked, you did not mess with Nan!

Remember picking wild rose hips so she could make her rose hip wine. At 11 she would not let me taste it but Mum got quite tiddly on just 2 glasses. Dad said it was 50% proof, he was probably right.
