Did Willie Buckner, Anna Buckner, Coleman Buckner, Robert Buckner jr have children?

Question

Thanks so much For finding my family.. But I want to dig a lil deeper. My great-great Grandfather was Robert Buckner born in 1882 his Son Robert Buckner Jr was my Grandfather.. He changed his name to Robert Williams. He had a daughter named Barbra Jean Williams maiden name..  I'm really trying to see did my  great grandfather's siblings have children??? Pearl was my Great -great grand mother.. She married in as a bucker.. Who were her folks?? Were my family free from slavery?? Did the Buckner family originate from Jamaica?? I have so many questions to ask.. Thank you so much!! This has helped a whole lot!!!

I know this post was a while back, but Bucknors go back a long time in Jamaica, if you think that's where they're from. They usually spell it with an 'o' rather than Buckner in Jamaica, but it's somewhat variable. The first Bucknor in Jamaica seems to have been John Bucknor, who probably immigrated in the 1690s and had a fairly large plantation there. There were a number of Maroons who had the name too, and some of them were among the Trelawny Maroons who were deported to Nova Scotia after the Second Maroon War in 1796 and then to Sierra Leone in Africa.
