Hey y'all.  I'd like to know if we can talk about the many spellings of Hunnicutt and Newsom and choose a common spelling of those names.  I have noticed that one person can have the name spelled several different ways on  each census.  Same person but legal documents with different spellings. There are many places where even sibblings have different spellings.  I would like anyone's thoughts. There are alot of merges out there that should get done. Please feel free to be open about your reasoning. Looking forward to discussion. Thank Y'all. I personally prefer Hunnicutt and Newsom unless there is a birth cert. Stating other wise.

My great aunt Lula Hanley Newsome Deyerle said that her father's name had no e on the end but the school added the e on the kids' names. They thought that it would be easier to keep it. She is 94 and said that her memory isn't what it used to be and it may have been some other official documents.

Thanks Kathy.  Weird how people just up and change things.
