Robertson 8325 is a brickwall

Hi can anyone help?  She was born 1728 in Perth Scotland and married to David Christie b 1723.  All Robertsons to the Rescue!

Her birth 1728 Perth Scotland.I am skeptical of this.People did not move

around then.

They were married twice once in Markinch,and next in Leslie.

Done at the time, would make vows in there own parish.This Leslie in

Fife Scotland.

Markinch parish bounded by Kennoway,Wemyss,Dysart,Kinglassie,

Leslie ,Falkland, and Kettle.I looked at marriage record,does not give

parents names.

Elizabeth Robertson married 6 Oct 1749 in Markinch, Fife, Scotland and then she  married secondly in her husband's town, 7 Nov 1740 in Leslie, Fife, Scotland.  She had five children all born in Markinch, Fife, Scotland.  Mary b. 13 Oct 1750; John b. 12 Apr 1752; Elizabeth b. 16 Jul 1754; David b. 12 Jan 1757; James b. 28 Jun 1759; This last James died after 1893. There is a possibility that Elizabeth was the daughter of  James Robertsone and was Christened 20 Jun 1728 in Cupar, Fife, Scotland.  She definitely was the wife of David Christie who was the son of John Christie (1701-) and Elizabeth Dairymple (1698- ).  She probably was the Elizabeth Robertson who was buried in Glenrothes, Fife, Scotland in the Northhall Cemetery.
