Lillian Matilda Thorne died 1966, Fremantle,Western Australia. Buried Fremantle

Cemetary, There also 7 other Thornes buried there, She was married 1921

in Fremantle Western Australia. Registration # 227. Does not give husbands name.

There are 3 Thornes in that cemetary that could have been her husband.

show that Lillian Matilda Thorne died March 25, 1966 (Age 70) at Palmyra, WA, and was buried in the “Family Grave at Fremantle Cemetery" (Anglican area, Section MON A7, Grave No. 0049 ). In that same grave are:

Henry Thorne, d. May 22, 1971 (Age 80) at Palmyra, WA; and

Valerie June Thorne, d. June 16, 1947 (Age 12).

In newspaper archives at “Trove” (National Library of Australia), the “West Australian” (Perth), of Tuesday 17 June, 1947, shows that Valerie was the youngest daughter of Mr & Mrs H Thorne, of 8 Forrest Street, Palmyra. (Death date was June 14 and funeral was June 16 ) Several other family members are named in the death notices.
