Who were the parents of Willem Adriaan Wessels who died in 1976? [closed]

Question

Willem Adriaan Wessels was married to Johanna Jacoba Pistorius, the daughter of Johan Friedrich Wilhelm Theodor and Susanna Jacoba Strydom. Johanna Jacoba could have been born sometime between 1913 and 1923 and possibly in the Heidelberg area - but neither of these facts have been confirmed. Does anyone have some more information? Mary

Did they immigrate to the United States? The 1940 US Census has Bill F. Wessel in Spokane, WA, living with parents, William F. Wessel 46y born Germany and Louise M. Wessel 48y born Germany. Bill is 17y old and born in Germany.

Thank you for your reply. I should have said, Heidelberg, South Africa, for Johanna's possible birth place. But, as I can find no other record for either, it is possible that Willem Adriaan Wessels came to South Africa from USA or Germany, or that Johanna emigrated to USA. I will keep this information in mind and try to find confirmation. Mary
