Isnt most of this just crap feels too many Unknown with no location, no birth dates, no location, no xxxx 

Question: What is best practise to clean a family tree like this?? Merge unknown with unknown ;-)

I agree with you it does seem like a load of rubbish and the PM is not very active so it might not even help to ask him to sort it out.

Of course if they all should represent different children than this should or maybe could be sorted out with sources . 

If these are all nonsense profiles we can add all these UNKNOWNS to the recycle Unknowns ? Prevents merges/redirects and the profiles can always be used (recycled) by someone that needs maybe an Unknown parent or something, where only the first name is known . Anyway maybe someone of the Unknown project could take a look at them ?

Bea, before recycling, we need to be sure how many of those "unknowns" represent actual children.  There seem to be children in the census records who aren't named with this profile.  Then any left over could be recycled.

Death date, per SSDI, is September 1969.

Parents are in the census records. Has anyone checked to see if some of the unknowns can be identified?  If the PM is inactive, there's always the unresponsive PM route.

1 - seems to just be a reference of the family tree

2 - Ancestral file number DDQL-XS - says nothing to me what source it is and quality

Some lineages or families we have here are sometimes based on just these kind of online family trees, so to sort this out trying to find the number and names of children a few of these online genealogies together can maybe be used to try and sort things out for starters (some online genealogies have sources added or cited as well, so those are of course better to use).

Before removing or merging away all Unknowns trying this is the quicker option..maybe not the best..but probably better than just removing or merging them all away just like that..
