Following Frank Gill's answer which suggested Leeds, I wondered if your couple came from Kirkstall rather than Hickstall.
Sure enough they did. There are some of the records from the church there on a site called Freereg. Putting in Johnson and Kirkstall came up with this record.

I can't see his baptism in Kirkstall, though there are a number of Johnsons there. Your next step could be to search for these people in the census on the site that Frank used. Or search further in Yorkshire for his baptism on both sites (bearing in mind that not all parishes are indexed and not all children were baptised, especially in the more crowded parts of the country )

edit: would definitely look for an 1871 census entry for the MCCUTCHEN's since that entry is the only one on Freereg for the whole of Yorkshire. You have Helen's father's name plus two witnesses who must surely be relatives. You may find that the family came from elsewhere (Ireland?) and that would be on the census.
(sorry this takes you backwards and you want to know about intervening years)
Again censuses 1881, 1891, 1901, 1911 etc may show if the family is still in England.(and any children that they had there)
I think that this site may also help with immigration to the US. http://libertyellisfoundation.org/passenger and that there are also some records on Family Search (sorry not too experienced with that, my family tended to remain in England and the few that went elsewhere mainly went to Canada and Australia)
