I am also interested in John C Oliver he was born in Bath County ,VA around 1786 and died in Tuscaloosa, AL in 1864. I found on a census that he lived on the plantation belonging to Marion Banks. I am trying to find out his role on the plantation and was he related to Marion Banks?
