There are a few possible Arthur Croziers; can I make multiple profiles?

The evidence I have so far on http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Crozier-477 is for a different Arthur Crozier (except for the marriage, which I know is correct, based on his daughter's obit). I know I can just disconnect him from those images, but it would be more useful to create a profile for each man, then remove myself as manager once it becomes obvious which man is actually my auntie's dad.

I had something similar happen when I was researching Leo Glen Smith. I ended up adding research notes to the bottom of his profile indicating who he was not.

Because I found lots of sources for Leo L Smith before I realized he was the wrong person, I went ahead and created his profile and dropped the sources there.

In your case, you could create the second man, attach both men to the sources while you sort it out, and then detach the unrelated one from each of the various images as you come to conclusions.

I'd but a big bold disclaimer at the top of both bios telling what your process and time frame is. That way, if life happens, you and others will have a reminder as to what's going on.

I agree. When you find two very confusable persons like this in your research it is, in my opinion a good idea to add them both as profiles, even if only one of them is connected to a line you are working on and the other will be unconnected. You should, of course, source them well and do everything possible to show why they are not the same person in spite of the confusability.

If one day some kin of the other guy comes along, they have all that work done for them.
