I have Thomas Lathom b1420as the father of Richard Lathom b1473, in my family tree, and I can't go any further back at present, till I find out who Thomas's father was.

Where was Richard Lathom born in 1473.??

His father Thomas born 1420s,being abt 50 looks suspect.Because of his

age.

Your dates look about a century too early.  If you got your tree off the internet, it might have been gerrymandered.

but the details are vague.  However, there seems no doubt that they descend from Edward the younger son of Eleanor Ferrers
