The picture was taken Dec 1900.  She was a school teacher, a suffragette and a marvelous seamstress making all of the wedding apperal in the photo.

My grandmother Stella Mae Blanchard Wynne was a suffragette, School teacher and marvelous cook.  I would be proud for the community to carry on her memory.

What and interesting grandmother you had , wow I wonder how your grandfather felt about her being a suffragette. Looking at your beautiful grand mum she certainly look like she has and opinion. Well I can only guess your grandfather have put up with a lot if she was a maeveles cook.

Our beloved Gran Stella was a source of fascination for our Grandfather, Edwin Perle Wynne. He said that "He never got tired of her amazing mind". They were both serious progressives who reveled in philosophy, art, science and most especially music! I very proudly bear their name and burst with pride at all of her efforts to enable me, 100 years later, to VOTE! I have never missed an election in her honor.
