Parents of Jeremiah Johnson b.1639 New Haven Ct.

Question

I have parents as Thomas Johnson 1600-1640, and Ellen Bostwick. However, marriage date is about 1650, Jeremiah was born 1639?

 

Other records show Ellen having 6 kids with Thomas, Abigail,John,Loving.Joseph,Eliphalt and Thomas, but NO Jeremiah.

Marriage date incorrect? Wrong Mother attached to Jeremiah?

Okay, Dad was Joseph, drowned in the harbour, and Jeremiah and Thomas were his sons. (All New Haven CT). Now, some trees show Capt Isaac Johnson as the parents of these two. again, Incorrect? Before I go down the garden path. Are they related to Isaac?

Joseph Johnson drowned in New Haven Harbor in 1640. He was married to _______. Joseph and ____ had two children

1. Thomas b. c 1631 d. 5 Nov 1695 ae 64 in Newark New Jersey. This Thomas married Ellen Bostwick.
2.Jeremiah d. c 1711/2; res in Derby, CT; m. Sarah Hotchkiss.
