National Archives Flickr Albums. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. (1929-1968) is joined by Civil Rights leaders and march organizers, posing in front of the statue of Abraham Lincoln. On this day, Dr. King delivered his "I Have A Dream" speech. Civil Rights March on Washington, D.C. 28 Aug 1963. Retrieved 13 Sep 2016.

I find it interesting that Dr. King is the only one in the photo looking at the person taking the photo. A man exceptionally prepared for and aware of, the moment.

Indeed, John. He truly was one of people in all of history with the highest moral character and led a nation toward vital, lasting change. He was a role model and is greatly missed.
