Clarence's parents were William Henry Turner and Lucy Toye. He had atleast 4 siblings who lived past childhood. There is a marriage recorded in 1902 in Lewisham, Kent, England for a Clarence Montague Turner to either Agnes Hannah Rust or Nellie Wilmott. He does not appear in the 1911 England Census with either woman. Members of his family emigrated to the USA, Australia and New Zealand.
