Timothy Walker's wife in 1723 - Sarah Judson?

Timothy Walker is shown in two family organizations' book and website as having married Sarah Judson (Judson-11) (daughter of Sgt. John Judson) in about 1723. The trouble is, no vital records to support their marriage can be found in any locale Timothy or Sarah lived in. Probate records for Timothy, and for Sarah's parents have not been found either.

The most promising source from The Ancestry and descendants of John Walker (1794-1869), published by The John Walker Family Assn, says that they researched Sarah's last name and found through a land record in Woodbury signed by both Sarah and Timothy in 1733/34, that her father was Judson. Does this source meet the criteria to call it a "quality" source; i.e., can we state that it appears Sarah Judson was the Sarah who married Timothy Walker? Or can anyone find anything else substantive to show what Timothy Walker's wife's LNAB should be?

Do you think the author might have lied? Probably not. A trip to Woodbury, to check the land deeds would be better proof, but I'm inclined to believe the book.

I went to our genealogy center and I saw this so I thought I would see if I can find out anything. I found this: Timothy's father is Zechariah Walker born 1670 and 1753 and his mother is Elizabeth Miner born 1667 -and died 1749 Wife is Sarah Judson born 1699 and died 1786 I printed out the family tree thing that has this and more on it. I can email it to you but please send me an email and I can scan it into my computer and then email it to you. I cannot type everything here and now but I believe this to be the real information. I will see what they have on John Judson and Zechariah Walker. Nancy

Thank you, Nancy. That information ties with what I've found for her and Timothy. I've posted the sources for the information to Sarah Judson's profile. Is there anything further about Sarah's death date in 1786? I believe it is actually her husband's death date. I found a Sarah Walker's death in Woodbury Vital Records, on September 19, 1749, but it is not identified in such a way to know whether it is actually the Sarah in question, though.

Will send an email separately, thank you.
