Searching for Neal Boyle, brother of Michael Boyle from Arranmore Island, Co. Donegal who died 1st January 1949.

Searching for the late Michael Boyle's brother Neal and his family.  Neal was born in 1900 and originally from Arranmore Island, Co Donegal but went to work and live in Rosyth, Lilthgow, Scotland.  His brother Michael died at Loch Sloy in 1949.  Neal probably died in 1970s or 80s.  Neils father was Charles and mother Rose Boyle.

You have confused Neal Boyle with his brother Hugh Boyle. Hugh Boyle was born in Linlithgow, Scotland, in 1900 while his parents were in Scotland working at the potato harvest. He returned to Arranmore with them. His brother Neal worked his passage on ships and hitchhiked with the British army through Afghanistan down to the Bay of Bengal, where he took a ship to New Zealand and after working as a miner initially he later became a school janitor. That is all the information I have. I know this to be true because Hugh Boyle was my father. I met my uncle Neal once while he was on holiday from New Zealand, visiting my father in Rosyth.

I cannot ask my father and your cousin, as he passed away in 2014.
