Looking for someone who is related to Daniel C Schmidt.

Question

In a box at Goodwill in Oregon, a gentleman found documnets for Daniel Criss Schmidt (he was married to my great aunt).  I have copies of these documents.  Would like to send the orginails to one of his relatives.  They come from a point in history that few remember but was important to the USA during the Korean War.  I am a member of the Korean War Project and that is how the man found me.  Is anyone a relative?

I am a grand daughter of Daniel's. Daniel's youngest son Chris is my dad. my name is Christi Brown. Im interested in anything you might have that may be my grand fathers papel work. I know little of Daniel. I do know he was in the Koren war,a pow, passed away when my dad was 5. Married to my grandma Una Howell and is buried at Montgomery creek in CA. my dad also has a half brother Roger. Any infomation would be appreciated. Thank you. My name is Daniel Walter Schmidt .I am the oldest son of Daniel Criss Schmidt I live in Twin Falls,id  I also have a younger brother Christian Joseph Schmidt .I was born 3-31-53 Chris was born 6-8-57 our dad was born in isabela,SD our mother was born in idaho on 12-18-34 as Una Florence Howell
