Is this a good example profile for the Virginia Project? [closed]

Hi! If you haven't seen the [Examples page], it's awesome. As project coordinator for the [Virginia Project], I had posted a profile for us in December, but it changed (as Wikis do) & rather than remove its German Roots Project Box, I searched around for a purely Virginia profile to showcase. I think I found it in Elizabeth Permelia (Jackson) Pribble, who was born in Virginia of Virginia-born parents, was cousin of Thomas Jonathan "Stonewall" Jackson's father, and died just before the land she lived on officially became West Virginia.

The only hitch - her husband may have been the father of more children than she bore him. Or they had more Pribble children in the home than were theirs (1850 Census has two groups of minors). So... is that ok? Can you help resolve the mystery? Do you have a post-USA Virginia profile you'd like to represent the project instead?

Let me know!

Cheers,
Liz

We can certainly removed the German_Roots from Thomas Watkins.  Firstly, nothing is planned around that heritage and secondly, some of of the relatives were claiming his mother from Germany was actually from Virginia.
Thanks! I've added him back as our example.
Cheers, Liz

Thanks Doug! It's the post-USA sub-project of the [US History project]. With Pre-USA/post-1860s WV, Virginia's got full coverage :D
