Billingsley lineage

We (someone in my family) traced our lineage back to the Billingsley family in England. The history stops circa 1473/75:

The problem I have discovered here is that, according to someone's research, Roger Billingsley is listed as being the father of William Billingsley, except that he is younger than his son by a couple of years. Does anyone know or have leads on what the correct information might be?

Hi: I searched the internet for you. There is a site that might answer your question

and any another ancestor questions. You might have to contact the person with

the site. http://billingsleyhistory.blogspot.ca/2006/03publisjed-gene.

The site should be the history of the billingsley family 1350-1750 in England, Holland,

and North America. He mentiond  2  family members Thomas and William who

came to america together. One settled in Arkanas.  Let me know if

this site helps you...Marie

Thanks! I'll have a look.

Actually, I just checked it out and there really isn't any information to be found there. He talks about plans to publish his research (in 2006), but in a grand total of two small blog posts, he ceases writing anything further. Also, there is no way to contact him through his blog. Ah, well, welcome to the mysterious world of genealogy research.
