Who were the real parents of George Frederick Russell born Fredericton in March 1825 [closed]

On his marriage certificate in Australia, George showed his parents as John Russell and Amelia Treadwell. Some people believe he is the same George Russell baptised in Fredericton, New Brunswick, whose parents are named as Jacob Russell and Elizabeth deForest. Does anyone have any helpful leads to sort out the uncertainty about his real parents?

This record shows he has a sister named Bridget. I don't see any Bridget listed as siblings on any of the Ancestry.com trees.

Name: George Russell
Estimated Birth Year: abt 1827
Age: 26
Arrival Date: Jul 1853
Arrival Port: Port Phillip Bay, Australia
Departure Port: Bristol
Ship: Agnes Blaikie
Nationality: English

I cannot find the reference to Bridget.
Note that there were two men named George Russell who arrived in Port
Phillip from England in 1853. The first one sailed from Liverpool in March
on the Marco Polo, reaching Port Phillip in May. The second sailed from
Bristol on the Agnes Blakie and arrived in July. There is a census record showing that a George Russell, mariner, born in New Brunswick, was boarding at a house in Liverpool in 1851. This tallies with other records showing that the George Frederick Russell we are following had come from New Brunswick to England, and from there to Australia. Was Bridget possibly a sibling of the OTHER George Russell, from Bristol?

The 1851 census listing in Liverpool must be him, but I am not convinced that the 1853 Liverpool crossing is right. This man is listed as Irish, which our Russell's were not. I still doubt that he will be shown arriving as a passenger. I think he likely arrived as a crewman and never returned to the ship.

Research has confirmed that there were two George Frederick Russell's born in New Brunswick in the 1820's.

[[Russell-5600|George Frederick Russell (abt.1827-1897)]] has been clearly identified through Australian marriage and death records as the son of John Russell and Amelia Treadwell.

[[Russell-9133|George Frederick Russell (1825-aft.1910)]] who settled in Washington County, Maine has been identified as the son of Jacob Russell and Elizabeth DeForest.

Thanks for the contribution but I suspect that this is the wrong George Russell. The man we are looking for did not arrive as a passenger. He was a sailor from New Brunswick Canada. He likely jumped ship and decided to stay in Australia. He wasn't English and didn't have a sibling named Bridget and wouldn't have been traveling with a sibling at any rate.
