gg grandfather mystery

Hello -- I have been searching for over 10 years to find out about my gg grandfather but to no avail.  I believe his name was George CORDER (b. Amissville, Virginia abt 1850; d. ?; m. abt 1870).  He was married to Maria Elizabeth CORDER (b. 1841, Fauquier Co., VA; d. 19 March, 1912, Fauquier Co., VA).  Their son, Robert Lee Corder (b. 9 June, 1872; d. 24 Jan. 1957; m. 19 Jan. 1898 to Lillie Dell Allison), was my g grandfather.  Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks, Connie Edwards

Can you provide location? I have these surnames-Corder and Allison in middle TN. My people also came from VA, NC, ect. I may be able to make connection for you.
