Disconnect Humphrey Carew/Cooke & Joanna (Cooke) Harris parents (MCA) [closed]

Humphrey and his sister Joanna (Cooke) Harris I think are currently incorrectly connected to Geoffrey (Say) de Say; Humphrey has a questionable descendant Walter Cook. The last name aliases (Carew and/or Cooke) are not well documented.

Their current father John Cooke is the weak link - in MCA but he lived in Essex while Humphrey was born in Suffolk; John's actual son Sir Anthony Cooke KB was a notable person & MCA says John had only one son, Sir Anthony and one daughter Beatrix (Cooke) Ogle . The other 5 children probably need new parents, Humphrey, Joanna, Joan CookeCatherine Cooke and Mary Cooke

Joanna is PPP'd, has no project and is unsourced, she should be un-PPP'd at the minimum and probably have her parents removed since she has no sources. Socially, Joanna's descendants are equal in my eye to Beatrix and Sir Anthony so it's possible Richardson missed her since I don't think she has any American descendants. Humphrey has a birth/death place of Westhorpe, Suffolk, which is relatively far from Essex and the manor was owned by Robert Washington (4th son of Robert Washington of Warton, Lancs.)& he and his son John Carewe Cooke apparently were shoemakers so they don't seem like they were in the same social class. Thanks for taking a look at these profiles!

Kirk - I removed PPP from Joanna's profile. The edits I did to your original post were (1) replace the ppp tag with false_ancestors (2) reverse that edit - after a closer reading of your post, I realized that the "false_ancestors" tag didn't really apply.

Cheers, Liz
Thanks Liz. I'm going to research Joanna further on the outside chance I can figure out the connection.

On Walter Cook - he's a questionable gateway ancestor, that's what I meant, but I didn't add the category since I figured he's almost certainly lose his connection. I think I'll also add a G2G for him specifically since he might be in GMB or in a NEGHS issue.

I just noticed this G2G ->

With the date discrepancies I'm going to disconnect his parents, with a note. Thanks!
