Why no acknowledgement?

I booboo'ed and created https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Warren-10993 when https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Warren-938 already existed. This latter is a protected Profile (I think). I have not received any acknowledgement of this problem either from https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Clark-9857 or https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Pierce-339 the two Profile Managers. What can I do. I've offered to do the merge if they put me on the trusted list but no action thus far. Help.

Oh Gosh, I hope they are not in one of the hurricane zones!!!!!!!!!!!!
You may have to wait out the 30 days to complete the merge. One of the managers is totally inactive, the other is definitely around, but who knows? If no one responds the merge will default to approved 30 days after you proposed it.
Hi Anne, Thanks for responding. I honestly don't know if I proposed the merger. I guess if it shows up as a "pending merge", which it does, it is proposed. I pressed "merge" but not being a party to the lower number, I was told my approval was recorded. Is that when the 30 days started? That was about a week ago. So if I am correct about all this, in another three weeks the merger goes through. Yes?
Someone else proposed it Aug 28, so Sept 28 it should be ready to merge. It won't automatically merge, someone has to do it by hand but if you go to the profile on the 28th and look down at the bottom for pending merges and press merge you will be able to merge them together then.
Bill, It was I who proposed the merge but I'm not on either profiles list.  Wait until Sept. 30 and you can merge them then.

You two, Anne B and David M are awesome collaborators. I thank you very much!! Now I can rest easy. (It's hard for me to sit back and let someone else assert control. Dependency on others is not easy at my stage of life, yet I am at an age where I need to prepare to do that.)

Also you both must read every single posting on G2G!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You and Wikitree ROCK!!!!

Thank you again. (I can get pretty effusive when I'm being helped.)

After 30 days anyone in good standing on WikiTree can complete the merge, as has already been mentioned.

I just completed the merge because it is a Mayflower project profile and the project profile is on the trusted list.  I am leader of the Mayflower Project. This is not the usual procedure.

You now need to clean up the profile. I notice a lot of excellent suggestions for you to use.
It is now cleaned up. It would be nice if you inspected it and tell me if it passes muster. Thanks for going the extra mile!!

You don't say when you sent the merge request, but You can't exect people to always answer quickly.  I'd wait at least a week before making another move.  Especially on weekends lots of people are out and about and don't respond til monday.  And while it'd be nice to get just a response quickly, sometimes people want to check to see what the Situation is and what must be done before the actual merge is done.  Sometimes there are other matches which need to be done first because of varient surnames which should be taken care of first.  I have one just now where there's a child I haven't seen before and I want to make sure this child does indeed belong to the couple who will be merged into.  (But I did correspond with the person who created the matching profile.) And there are the profile managers who rarely or never show up on WikiTree.  In this last case you can look at the contributions of the other PM and see if they're active much or not. If not there's a process which will allow you eventually do the merge.
