Who are the parents of Elizabeth (Clarke) Towne?

Question

Are John Clarke who married Rose Fenne and John Clarke who married Katherine Cooke the same person? How do we know this? And who are the parents of Elizabeth (Clarke) Towne? The dates of marriages and Elizabeth's birth are not working out very well. And there is also the question of location, Suffolk and/or Norfolk.

 

She is the mother of William Towne [Towne-2] who is PGM protected.

The simplest answer is to make Katherine Cooke the mother of Elizabeth, but I am not sure that this is reliably sourced.  Of course, parents Unknown would be even simpler.  ;-)
