Is everyone on a census counted if only one is a source?

For error data base, it will not accept a FAG source for a shared gravestone
as a source for the opposite partner.  If a census lists a parent, either father/mother and we use that single census entry as the source for the following ten children, instead of doing ten different entries with "XX in the household of XX", are we going to have
a "suggestion" correction on those ten children?

The "Data Doctors" error database does treat FindAGrave memorial numbers as unique to a person, and it does check FindAGrave memorial numbers against the FAG database. There is currently no such checking for census records.

When I cite a URL for a census record, I usually remove the parts of the URL that are specific for the person I was searching on when I found the record, so the URL points to the entire enumeration sheet.
That approach would save a lot of  time.  I keep flipping back to get an
individual entry for each name on most of them.
When I cite the URL for census record I always make sure it goes directly to the person who's being recorded because when I got back to that person's profile I want to see  their census record not the census record for the whole family.
J, it sounds like you are focusing on citing the transcription of the record, while I'm focusing on citing the original census sheet. Different approaches to the same goal, I guess!
In Family Search, each person in a census record has a unique URL.  So for a family of 12, I use a citation that points directly to that person, and directly to that person's URL.  I'm not sure where a census transcription comes into it.
I have used the approach of individual URLs when I am entering my own family GEDCOM that I am sourcing.  I often refer back to individuals and
like to know who I am referring to.  In the source-a-thon I guess I am not
connected to the profile, feel no one has been interested enough to do
sourcing for it, or totally abandoned it in many cases.  Therefore, I got to
thinking maybe I could save some time with the one source listing.  I
just wondered if it would set off red banners!
In the source-a-thon, do what you want.  If it generates an error, it can be corrected later.

When I do my own transcriptions from an image file, the image can be used as a source for any person in the household.  I put the relevant source data including page number.  Households may be split between pages.

Familysearch makes it easier as the data is already sourced and is listed for each individual member of the household uniquely.  Everyone in the household, however, is keyed to the head of the household:  David Hughey in the household of Robert Hughey.  Clicking on different family members, say Richard Hughey, would change the references point to Richard in the household of Robert Hughey.
