how to connect DNA to other family members.

My husbands DNA links him to Orlando Bagley according to familytreedna. His family records go back to his gr-gr grandfather Martin Bagley who came from Ireland to Louisiana, married Rosa Lyons. I can trace that part of the family but, I can't connect Orlando to Martin. My husband's last name is Bagley (of course) and I am having sooo much trouble finding any others born in Ireland besides Martins other 2 brothers that he was in business with in LA.Timothy and John. I have gleaned quite a bit from ancestry, wiki and vermilion parish LA history. Thanks, Beth Bagley Nodeerhere@hotmail.com

I found a lot of Bagley's in debtors prison. Look there. It was common Ireland was very poverty stricken at times.  Many Samuel Bagley's.  one even born in 1794 which is what I am looking for     I can never prove it.
