Congratulations Elizabeth, on managing to sort out their lives. Can almost feel the brain strain you must have endured.

Great finding Elizabeth !

But there is a duplicate profile for the Reverend:

Llewelyn Cary Thomas Davis (1869-1945)

There also exist profiles por his parents Thomas and Elizabeth you are listing in the "Biography" of the profile.

I think a merge should be proposed.

Sometimes I wonder about what does or does not come up in the search while creating the profile. So, the connection has been found. Too bad about the duplicate, dagnabbit!! Thanks for finding that, Rubén.
You´re welcome Elizabeth.

That's a headache for many of us.
So, I've stumbled into a connection. A clumsy end to an odd quest.

George Ledlie, whose grave in Bridgeport, CT was paid for a by a friend. It says on the stone his father was Gen. James Ledlie, apparently known as one of the worst generals in US history.

I haven't noticed any connection between George and Connecticut. His friend maybe gave him a spot in a family plot. George never married, he went to Harvard, popped up here and there over the world as a journalist. His brother settled down in St. Louis; George never did.

Not your typical burial to track down. But now he's connected to our big tree. So three cheers for that! Thanks again.
