How can I find out about an adoption from the early 1900's

B.311 March 1916 in Pine Bluff,Ark.

I was told he was adopted but don't know if it was just between familys or it was an legal adoption

I created a mirror tree on Ancestory that has helped me determine an adoption was made. I am now DNA testing my mother to see if it will make a little more sense as to who was adopted. I watched youtube for help on understanding mirror trees.

it may not have been adoption in the usual sense. look first to other relaties. som may even be with neighbors or friiends as housekeeepers, hired help or apprentices. good luck...
