I have approved a merge (at least twice) but it still appears in my "merges awaiting your approval" queue

It is possible that the other profile manager has not responded to the request.  Have you contacted him/her privately, left a message on the bulleton board for him to see or leave a message after confirming the merge on your side?

If having done on these things, on the profile page of the other side that is to be merged, go to the bottom of the page and you will see a link for "unresponsive profile manager"

Click this link, fill out the form and submit your information and you will receive notification in you email of what to do next.

It's not because the other manager has not approved the request--I have lots of those, unfortunately.  This is a technical glitch--I approve the merge, I get the screen that says thank you, and then when I open the "merges awaiting your approval" screen again the next day the same merge shows up.  I have now approved it four or five times and it's still on my "meregs awaiting your approval" screen.  No big deal, but I thought I should report it.

I have had that happen - try ''rejecting'' then ''initiate a new merge'' - usually fixes the glitch ... if that doesn't then you'll need to get the techies to fix it.
