In the handwritten       BT for Egerton, Jesse is the son of John and Elizabeth  and baptized Lady's Day 1763.

Little Chart parish records show baptism Lady's Day 1764 Jese is the son of Edward Browne (Little Chart, Kent  1717-1797) and baptized Lady's Day 1764.Edward Browne was christened in High Halden 1717.

Jesse's sons with Mary Ashby are named William (1788) and John (1789) in Egerton.

Hi Edy,

I have found evidence to show that Jesse is the son of Edward. I have posted information and sources on Jesse Brown's profile, and attached his siblings (where they exist on Wikitree) etc.

regards,

T
