Jacob Meek Holloway's connection to John Minter Holloway can't be proven, yet there is a family tree here, is it right?

The preparer of a Familty Tree for Jacob Holloway, who is a relative of mine, has jumped to this conclusion of a connection to John Minter Holloway b. 1782, yet, our own dna doesn't match and I can't find verification of this connection.  My own dna revealed (37/2) a match between myself and Williamson Phillips b. 1790 in NC and Charles Gregory b. 1824 somewhere in SC, Ala, Georgia.  I don't want to continue my research of the Holloways until I can be sure of my own surname.

Have you discussed the conclusions reached by your relative with him? Does he have any sources?
