Possible to restore more than one profile at once?

I just discovered that a cousin has done a GEDCOM "update" to every profile from his Ancestry tree, which has added the vital details/census records etc. in list format and the weird sources gobbledygook to every profile he manages. Many of these I have spent significant time fixing up, adding properly formatted sources and detailed biographies. (He added all these people with a GEDCOM 4 years ago and has been MIA ever since.)

I know there is the option to restore and remove the changes from the Changes page on each individual profile, but by any chance is there a way to restore numerous changes made by one profile manager at the same time? "Bulk restore"?

I think his intentions are good but he just doesn't understand the implications of what he has done by accepting the GEDCOMpare for every person. He doesn't consider this to have impacted the work I have done at all, just added "a few extra sources." The worst part is he informed me he is shooting for a 1000 contributions badge. This is really upsetting.

Yikes!  I think you'll need to do an individual restore to each profile.  Best of luck with this mess.

Update - my cousin is willing to restore the profiles one by one and I am coaching him on how to do this. Thanks for the help.

I love your question and wish I knew an answer for it. One thing you might do is add a couple of tags to your question here:   'tools' and 'improvements'  since I don't know that there yet exists such a capability to do a 'bulk restore' on WikiTree. It seems like such a brilliant idea, though, and once you explained what happened, it makes sense that we'd be using it from time-to-time!
