When you type a message in the message box, there are only 800 characters available and half of them are invisible. Result is that when you hit return, there often are mistakes that you only see when the message is already posted. Only then do you get an opportunity for editing in a bigger window (which BTW supports less markup than biographies have and does not have a preview) so the second attempt is usually correct.
In the meantime the wrong message has already been sent to everybody following that profile and to all members of the project. The correct one is never sent. They won't see it unless they take the trouble to reread the message when opening the profile.
Could the mechanism that forwards messages include a delay queue on which the profile ID's are put, and only forward messages whose latest version is 15 minutes old? Or offer an option to change to the big window when editing the first time? Or allow viewing of a message before sending?
