Hi Margaret,

Neilston is part of Paisley Burgh or County which at certain points in time can also be classed as Renfrew as well (in fact it has also been known as Paisley and Renfrew District, so the answer looks like yes

Scotland's People http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/

Holds 27 birth records fr the name William Sharp in that area for the period 1855 to 1900.

From 1700 to 1854 the same are holds 23 birth records for the same name.
