why wont you let me complete my family tree?

I want to help contribute to the deep genealogy on our shared tree.

1.) Geographical region and time period:   Devon, England

2.) Some example names and dates:   Edward Damerell d.o.b. 1696.  wife Grace (head) Damerell dob. 1696

3.) Source(s) for my information on them:  christening cert dated 11/24/1696.   marriage cert. dated 12/21/1721

Before I get started adding and changing profiles, can you tell me if there is a WikiTree project that would cover these people? If so, how do I get in touch with the project members to coordinate and collaborate on the profiles?

HI there, welcome to WikiTree. There's a One Name Study see [[Category:Damerell Name Study]]. Try not to be in a hurry, most of us were, I think. Three years down the track I'm still tidying up what I did in the beginning and I do wish I'd been more thorough in adding all the sources I had then. There is a questionnaire that has to be completed before you can add pre 1700 profiles which looks much more sensible now than it did three years ago. Enjoy!

I think you should get in contact with England project since these profiles seems to belong in that project. 

This seems to be the project's current thread in G2G.

It might be helpful to you to get the pre-1700 certification before you start working on those profiles. You might want to learn how to find and add the correct sources. Because those profiles that you have created do not have any sources.

"LDS Database" is not a source.

We have corresponded about the Damerell Name Study, and I am so excited to hear from you!

When I woke up this morning (we are in different timezones, I think) I saw all the profiles you have been putting on.  Will you mind if I put the [[Category:Damerell Name Study]] on them? You never know, it might break a brick wall for you.
