I'f I add a <ref> xyz </ref> I'll get a footnote for xyz. What if you are making multiple research notes and you want to be able to link to different parts of the research notes text?
While the above xyz citation above appears in sources as:
1. xyz
Is there any way to do the same for research notes wherein, next to the text, instead of a [1] there is some other annotation, like [i.] or [a] and down in the bottom, in the research notes, we find:
a. In this example blah blah
b. And in this example blah blah
If there is no mechanism for making links like this, in what format should I make my research note footnote annotations?
i., ii., iii., or
a., b., c., or
+., ++., +++
some other format?
thanks in advance for your replies.
