Hi, I am getting feeds such like..

07:33: John Smith edited the Marriage Data for Abraham Bassett. [Thank John for this]

It would be much more useful if it said

07:33: John Smith edited the Marriage Data for Abraham Bassett 1926 in Birmingham . [Thank John for this]

That additional information must be in the edit and it could easily be included automatically.

What does everyone think and can it be done?

I completely agree, and add middle name if available too.  It's especially helpful if you reverse those names, "Abraham Bassett edited data for John Smith".  There are so many John Smith's.  I'd like to see "Abraham Bassett edited the Marriage Data for John Wilson Smith (1926, Birmingham England)".  Then you know immediately if it's one you care about.

Having middle name (or maiden name for women) and/or date of birth, location, would be helpful, I agree.

However Rob, your reversal changes what occurred. As presented by Dave, John Smith is the member who did the editing. If you want it reversed, it would have to say "Abraham (Middle) Bassett (date/location) data edited by John Smith."

I'm not a very good writer, and often have trouble communicating clearly what I was thinking.  Perhaps I should have used 'switch' instead of 'reverse'?  I was trying to switch the names, to show that while it was helpful to see more info on a relatively uncommon name like Abraham Bassett, it was even more helpful when the name was an exceedingly common one like John Smith.  If I drop those names, perhaps it will be clearer - "Somebody Anyname edited the Marriage Data for Mary (Johnson) Smith (1935, Tottenham England)".

For me, any improvement on the info sent would be welcomed. The current email content is of little value. Dave Dawe
This has already been suggested a few times, and is on the list of future improvements :)
