For all of us working through Anderson to update profiles (and thanks to all of you who are! we are SO grateful!) a reminder that these books were published between 1995 and what 2005? 2007? That work is now 10-23 years old!
Those of us paying attention to NEHGS Register, The American Genealogist and NGS Quarterly (and other more recently published sources) are increasingly finding research that updates or even corrects Anderson.
So while Anderson is our primary guide for PGM profiles, we need to be mindful that subsequent research may be more accurate. Most of the PGM profiles we deal with haven't been updated by post-Anderson research but when you encounter a discrepancy from Anderson, check the narrative to see if it's been updated by a post-Anderson article.
