Do you have a Family Search tree? If you do, you can go to any member of your tree and, near the top of the screen, click on the link that says "Relationship to Me." It portrays a rudimentary drawing of how you're related to someone. I have quite a few mystery matches in Ancestry, so for one DNA match, I looked someone from his tree. I clicked on Relationship to Me, and it actually showed a relationship path that I didn't know existed. Of course, there might be a secondary path, and I'd have to make sure the sources were accurate, but I finally have a clue about how this DNA relative and I are related to each other. I've been using this same system every day on Ancestry DNA circle matches and other DNA matches who have trees in Ancestry and I've found quite a few matches. Basically, this is something Ancestry could do for us if they cared--but they don't.
