I have changed browsers;now all my WikiTree profiles appear without shape

I had been using Chrome on my Mac, but many photos were being pixilated when I tried to open them, so I thought maybe it was the browser deteriorating. So, I switched to Safari.

Now, the WikiTree profiles appear normally, for a brief instant, only to be replaced by a plain white page, with only text. It seems as if a setting must be off, but I don't know how to fix it. Anyone have any ideas?
(I tried to add a screenshot of the problem, but I can't figure out how to display it here)
Thanks, my friends!

Did you do a hard boot up after you switched browsers ? Try that.

Turn off laptop. Unplug. Remove battery. Count chimpanzees and bananas.

Put the battery back in. Plug in. Turn on.
Thank you, Eddie King.

It appears it was a software problem and I had to re-install my OS. But, I will keep these instructions handy!
