Does anyone have any information on Jaroslav Steininger, such as his parents? If I am correct in my assumptions (and that's all they are at the moment) he was born December 20, 1885 in Vodalivy, Bohemia and died in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan, United States. He may have changed his name to Jerry Joseph Steininger. He immigrated June 9, 1910 and arrived in the US on the ship "President Lincoln" and was a journeyman shoemaker. He married a woman named Mary, who was born Jan. 27, ????. They had a child named Mary Steininger, born September 01, 1915 in Detroit and died July 22, 1985 in Detroit. Is anyone familiar with Bohemian research? I am stuck here at a brick wall and trying to help a friend's mother find her roots. Thank you for any help anyone can give!
