Is everything I've been told about my family tree even true?

I found after using Wikitree & other family history sites it is questionable I was told the entire truth. I was told I am the great-granddaughter of Guy & Ada Roberts . They had 3 children I am told Lala, William, & my Grandmother Wanda. But theres not much I found to prove my mother, Julie Ann King is the daughter if a William King. If anyone could help me get started now know I really dont know much be great.

For us to help you, a good place to start is to post what you have been told - any birth dates, marriage dates, death dates, where born, died, married, etc. Even if you don't know much, any additional info will help get your search started in the right direction. You know names, any of the other info really helps get to the truth.
