Hi Patricia, If you would like to join the trusted list of someone, click on the green link "request to join the Trusted list" on the profile page of the person.  You can find more information on trusted lists at the following link.

It is also a good idea to check the PM's contributions list, if they have not been on wikitree for months or years they may not respond, if the profile is public (green) they you may need to follow the unresponsive manager route to get access to the profile, if it is private then life gets complicated.

How do i required john decesere to add me to trust list.

Hi Polly,

Are you a WikiTree member?  If so, you can be added to the trusted list for a profile, which enables you to edit that profile to add information and its sources.  You can do that by first contacting the profile manager to ask him/her to add you to the trusted list.  If you do not receive a response then you can follow the unresponsive profile manager procedure.

If you're not a WikiTree member then I would encourage you to join - it's completely FREE - and that's forever!  It is also a wonderful community of people who are dedicated to doing things right and offering assistance to anyone who asks a question about anything.
